One of the big temptation we face often is when we are asked to 'add value'to an idea/piece of work .While it is absolutely ok & fair to share the same if we genuinely feel that there are gaps and we can help in plugging them.But there are cases,where we know that either we don't have relevant knowledge or the piece of work is full-proof.
But we still point out gaps for self gratification and look smarter in front of others.This can be quite confusing & demotivating for others .Instead , lets direct them to relevant contact /appreciate them for their superb work .Sometimes the best way to add value is by not attempting to "unnecessarily" add value.
